Heidi Klum was born in Bergisch Gladbach Germany on June 1st, 1973. Erna Klum who was Heidi's maternal grandmother was a professional hairdresser. Gunther was the father of Gunther and a senior executive at an cosmetics producer. Her father was previously a production manager for the 4711 perfume company. Heidi was raised in the home town in Bergisch Gladbach a city of approximately 100,000 inhabitants just 6 miles from Cologne. She is a former German-American fashion model who now works as a TV host and producer as well as fashion designer.
