Aaliyah Dana Haaughton rose to fame after releasing her debut album Age Ain't Nothing More Than A Number in the year 1994. It was Gold in the year she turned fifteen years old. It was made as a collaboration that was highly inspired by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the limelight. The year 1996 saw her release her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album featured the hit number one track If Your Girl only was aware. With the debut of the album Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B performer. She appeared alongside the martial arts legend Jet Li in 2000's romance-action film Romeo Must Die. Her role came about when she was spotted by producer Joel Silver at an awards event. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She has also been featured in advertisements for major brands like international car manufacturer Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
